E-Cig FAQ's

Q) Are e-cigs harmful?

E-cigs are far less toxic then the average cigarettes. Average cigarettes have over 4000 different chemicals, 43 of which can cause some form of cancer and they contain another 400 toxins. The 2013 library briefing at the European Parliament concluded that; “In 2009, a study by the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) found dangerous substances "at very low levels". A recent laboratory study shows that levels of toxic substances in e-cigarette vapour are 9–450 times lower than in cigarette smoke and, in many cases, comparable with trace amounts found in medicinal nicotine inhalers.”
